I am going to continue with a little more research into my sleep deprivation. I have a lot of things to do overnight and don't have time for sleep. If I were to go to sleep, I would have to wake up at the butt crack of dawn after being up late on Mtn. Dews and help a friend with some physical labor. I'd never get to sleep anyway. Therefore, another reason to just stay up all night again. I'm counting on about, um idk, 6 hrs of some good REM sleep over the past... hrs? (I can't do the math. Someone help me... since 11am on Friday and now it's 4am on Tuesday) Seems that my arithmetic is the first function to go.
So anyway, I took part in my first podcast yesterday. I think it went well. I'm helping with the sports section alongside EJ, the resident comedian. I was happy to announce that the Dallas Cowboys won the first game of preseason activities and that the much awaited football season is now underway. I'm really looking forward to working with EJ and the rest of the SkyHighRadio cast to make a legit public news/BS radio broadcast! To keep up with everyone, I must use this overnight time wisely to do research on top news stories and popular debatable topics.
Also, I was finally out-bid on the Ebay item I was interested in the other night. I may just have to ditch out a few bucks more than the $10 coupon I have received from Ebay to purchase this Line6 Pod Studio GX USB Audio Interface. I need this little piece of technology to get down some bass lines to my pc. As it is, I'm coming up with kool riffs that I can never remember the next day! I haven't mastered singing and playing an instrument at the same time, so I need to get them down to practice with some of the lyrics I've put together over the past couple weeks. I'd have to admit that the lyrics are a bit dull alone, but I believe that with the right tunes, they will become alive. Hopefully, within a month, I can have some samples to post up on the web for all ears to hear.
I must now sign out to do some much needed bass guitar practicing so that I can stick to my goal of having some semblance of a song put together 'within a month'. (mental note: by Sept. 10) So, goodnight or good morning to whom it may concern. And hope to keep this blogging for the days and months to come!

Stuff I do while staying up all night...
Now that I don't have a 9-5, I find myself staying up all night on occasion. Maybe I'm trying to be more productive like I was during this most recent episode. But many times I'm just stretching the day a bit to play more video games. (I totally planned on doing that tonight!)
No, tonight, I was surfing the web for some music news. I'm a huge music fan. Not the fake music you hear from these so-called 'rap artists' but the real stuff you hear from real musicians playing the guitar. I heard that Wyclef Jean is running for president of Haiti. Apparently, he's actually from there and has been taking frequent trips there in his private jet as head of the Yele Haiti Foundation. Now, idk if Wyclef is just a bad businessman or a thief, but he supposedly used some of the money raised to pay some of his rent. You make the conclusion on whether he would make a good president or not.
Being a lover of rock music, I am totally into some Avenged Sevenfold but found that their drummer and co-founder, James 'The Rev' Sullivan, died of an acute polydrug intoxication on Dec. 27, 2009. Sad. But the good news is that another most excellent drummer, Mike Portnoy of Dream Theater, has agreed to sit in on their upcoming tour dates!
I also did a bit of research tonight on a few tech items I'd like to purchase in the near future too. I actually put a bid on one on Ebay. Hold up, I gotta go check on that, btw... Yay, not outbid! Yet... only 6d 7h to go. I found out how easy and inexpensive it is to record your own music at home with lots of new tech options now-a-days. Oh the joys of technology!
And speaking of technology, Blackberry seems to be on the downfall. So many ppl out there have these things (I did) but are boycotting them! I honestly don't blame them. I had so many problems with mine. Once it called the cops for me all by itself! Luckily I wasn't sitting at home in my boxer briefs smoking a hookah when they came-a-knockin'. 911 Emergency was just checking on a call they had received from my number while I was in the shower. I know that I hadn't placed the call, but sure enough, fifteen mins later, Officer Do-My-Job came by to make sure I was ok, thankfully. Could have been the trackball sensitivity to the weight of my jeans on the floor to make the call, or the emergency dispatcher actually spoke with the dead person's walking ghost from the previous homeowner's serial killer escapades. Who knows? Needless to say, I switched to a new Smart(er)phone asap.
Now, I know that it doesn't seem that I actually spent all night only finding these few tidbits of information on the world wide web. But I did only get home from my band's, Tune Dup, awesome rock show in Colonial Beach, VA this morning at 3am. (Check us out at http://www.facebook.com/pages/manage/#!/pages/Tune-Dup/128826880484433
So, now I've come to the end of my overnight web surfing, tech researching, "Nightmare" listening, fun-filled rock night. Rock on, A7X! And rock on, me for putting up my first ever blog! I've always heard of these things and wondered if I could ever get my lazy ass off of WoW to put one together. So now, here we are. Hope you all enjoy!
